When school resumes for Sandy Hook in January, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers are working to ensure that the students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with as many unique snowflakes as possible. They are asking for donations of snowflakes to help with this transformation.
Cut them out of paper, bead them, draw them, print them out, buy them, knit or crochet them, sew some plush ones—be as creative as possible, remembering that no two snowflakes are alike!!
Drop them off in the basket in the Gathering Space through Sunday, January 6, and St. Robert’s will send them to CT, a little part of the heart of our community to help surround our neighbors in need with the love, hope, and peace we all need to move forward.
