The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, or Corpus Christi, is coming up on the weekend of June 5/6. Each year as we celebrate Corpus Christi, we reflect on the life-giving spiritual nourishment we receive at the table of the Eucharist by sharing the lifegiving gift of physical nourishment with those in need by bringing gifts of food forward during the Presentation of the Gifts. This year, Neighbors in Need has a special request for some specific products greatly needed by some of the most vulnerable in the community.
This year, we are collecting the following items:
Shelf-stable whole milk
Similac Advance formula
Pediasure
Ensure
Nestle Nido Kinder Milk
You can bring your donation when you come to Mass. If you are not able to come to church, you can drop off your donations anytime in the bin outside Driscoll Hall. There is also an Amazon wish list if you prefer to purchase online and have your donation shipped directly to us. The wish list is here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3840YBKTG9Z3O?ref_=wl_share. Or you may donate a gift card to Market Basket, Walmart, or Target to allow Neighbors in Need to purchase the items (if you do not come into church, gift cards can be dropped in the Faith Formation lock box next to the Driscoll Hall door). Thank you for your generosity!
