One of the most popular and successful programs conducted by Knights of Columbus councils nationwide is the fundraiser in which councils collect donations outside stores, churches, and on street corners to support programs serving people with intellectual disabilities. In appreciation, the donor is offered a candy bar, often a Tootsie Roll. The high visibility of this program has led to the campaign being referred to as the “Tootsie Roll Drive.” 100% of the profits go directly to agencies and programs serving people with intellectual disabilities (such as the Special Olympics) in our state and neighborhood. Please support this important initiative and help the St. Robert Bellarmine Council of the Knights of Columbus help those in need in our community!
